Open positions at Winebrenner Theological Seminary:

Vice-President for Academic Advancement/Academic Dean

Winebrenner Theological Seminary is seeking to fill the position of Vice-President for Academic Advancement/Academic Dean (to begin on August 1, 2018).  As Chief Academic Officer, this person has oversight of the seminary’s academic program, is a member of the President’s executive team, answers directly to the President, and works closely with the President for the advancement of the seminary. The VPAA/Dean leads the faculty in curriculum development and initiating new programs, schedules courses, fosters faculty development, and is responsible for faculty review. This office supervises the registration process and is responsible for approving transfer of credits and certifying that students have completed the academic requirements for graduation. The VPAA/Dean oversees academic records through the Registrar and performs other duties appropriate for a CAO. He or she will have the opportunity to teach on a limited basis and to continue professional development.

Applicants should normally hold a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, be committed to the seminary’s statement of faith and mission, and have both administrative and teaching experience. The Tekonsha Area Church of God in Tekonsha, MI is currently seeking Pulpit Supply during a search for a Pastor who is a strong Biblical preacher who takes evangelism seriously. The church is located in Tekonsha, Michigan a town of 720 people whose town slogan matches the town attitude, “the little town with a big heart”. The church was established in the early 1980’s and in 1988 built a nice building on 13 acres of land on the north edge of town. The average Sunday morning attendance is 10-15 and the church has a great potential for growth. Senior Pastor

The Plainfield First Church of God, Plainfield, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Senior Pastor to shepherd the Lord’s Church overseeing weekly Sunday school, Bible studies, worship services and multiple church staff. The Senior Pastor will administer the ordinances of communion, feet washing and baptism. Other duties include overseeing visitation, child dedications, weddings, and funerals. A Bible College degree, Seminary degree, or completion of the Winebrenner Pastoral Training Institute with Ordination Certification or the equivalent is preferred.

Air National Guard Chaplains

The Air National Guard (ANG) is seeking individuals to join this ministry. ANG Chaplains serve 2-3 days a month. Qualifications include:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree (not less than 120 semester hours)
  • Possess an accredited Master’s degree of not less than 72 semester hours (36 semester hours must be in Theology)
  • Obtain a federally recognized ecclesiastical endorsement from your denomination or faith group.
  • Are less than 45 years of age if not prior service (less than 47 with prior service)
  • Be mentally and physically fit
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen only
  • Be able to obtain a secret security clearance

Recovery Program Instructors

The City Mission of Findlay (OH) is starting a Recovery Program providing educational training through formal courses. Navy Chaplains

The US Navy currently has a need for chaplains. Right now there are thousands of uniformed service members serving in the Navy, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines and Marines without adequate chaplain support.
