Welcome to our Spring (?) trimester!

I’m not sure why we call the term that starts in January the “Spring” trimester, but we do! Regardless of the history of the name, we have started a new term today (January 8)! For those who like numbers, here is a summary of how things look at the start of a new term:

184: Total number of students – the breakdown is below:

125: Graduate students

34: Students enrolled at either the Marion Correctional Institution or the Toledo Correctional Institution

10: The approximate number of students being taught in Kenya this week (we often don’t know the final figure until the course has started)

15: Students enrolled in various Institute for Christian Studies courses, including partnerships with Friendship Community Church, various regions of the Churches of God, General Conference, as well as Higher Hope Church and Fathers on the Move.

[for those less familiar with the experience of a student, you may find the advice of one of our faculty members interesting: Practical Tips for Succeeding in Seminary]

19: Total number of faculty members teaching the courses listed above

25+: The number of different courses offered

9: Current full-time Winebrenner employees, including faculty and administration, who connect students to our mission

Regardless of your role – whether you are a student, partner, or giver – you make this possible! The core way that Winebrenner carries out the mission to equip leaders for service in God’s kingdom is through providing structured learning environments.

Thank you for joining us in this mission!
