Youth and Christian Education Director

Mt. Tabor Church of God is a growing evangelical rural congregation located 5 miles north of Celina, Ohio with a pre-covid average attendance of 229. This church is reaching many younger individuals that are in need of a mentor to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

The current Sunday morning Christian education department is defying the national trend and is growing and impacting 60% of the church with an average pre-covid attendance of 128. Wednesday night events are averaging over 50 and have individuals from outside the church attending. The pre-covid youth group had 35 in attendance with a good mixture of teens from all backgrounds in life. Therefore, with the growth that this department has experienced, a Director of Youth and Christian Education is needed.

The Director of Youth and Chrisitian Education will have two primary responsibilities. The primary duty will be leading a disciple making youth group within the church. The second task is administrative and vision casting within the Christian Education Department. The individual will also assist with other ministry responsibilities when needed.
The candidate will be asked to risk and not be afraid to fail. The applicant must work with individuals well and help guide and motivate them in their ministry calling.

Modern Worship Coordinator

Hanover First Church of God (HFCOG), part of the Eastern Region Conference, Churches of God General Conference has an opening for a part time Modern Worship Coordinator. The Modern Worship Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the vision for the modern worship service of HFCOG is carried out on every level. This individual will be a team player focused on creating buy-in to the vision and implementation of the modern worship service. They will work closely with the Lead Pastor and the Deacon of the Worship Commission to create a worship experience that is fresh, engaging, and relevant to an emerging generation. They will work collaboratively with the worship and production teams to ensure that the vision of this service is being implemented. The qualified candidate will have a vibrant relationship with Jesus, evidenced through a lifestyle of worship. He/she will need to have demonstrated excellence in the field of worship ministry and have the ability to lead worship both vocally and with guitar/keyboard. Navy Chaplains

The US Navy currently has a need for chaplains. Right now there are thousands of uniformed service members serving in the Navy, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines and Marines without adequate chaplain support.
