multi-generational, relationally-driven, growing church and staff into our next season of
intentional discipleship and meaningful community outreach.

Grabill Missionary Church (GMC) in Grabill, Indiana is a “community church” in the fullest sense.
Our roots run deep. The first services began in the late 1800’s and in 1901 GMC constructed one
of the first buildings in town. And over time, our “community” has continued to grow. Today,
families from Northeast Indiana/Northwest Ohio, including Fort Wayne, the second largest city in
Indiana, call GMC home. Presently we have a highly dedicated staff of 15 support pastors and
personnel, over 275 engaged volunteers, and an approximate average of 560 people (all
programs) in attendance each Sunday in 2023. We are ready to continue reaching and discipling
the growing community around us.

GMC Hiring Priorities:
● The Lead Pastor will ensure that he and the pastoral staff work together to provide
effective, engaging Biblical preaching and teaching in all environments at Grabill
Missionary Church.
● The Lead Pastor will demonstrate the ability to maintain, and a desire to have healthy and
caring relationships with the Grabill and surrounding communities, the various groups
present in the church, the Staff, the Elder Board, and their own family. [I Timothy 3:1-13;
Titus 1:6-9]
● The Lead Pastor will be responsible to work together with the staff to create, build, and
implement a community-wide intentional process of every-member discipleship and
spiritual maturity.
● The Lead Pastor will work together with the Elder Board and Staff in a way that reflects the
values of Grabill Missionary Church relationally to provide effective administrative,
communication, and financial leadership.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, i.e.,
Pastoral Ministry, Theology, etc., with a seminary degree being preferred. Candidates will also
need to demonstrate the ability to receive ministerial credentials with the Missionary Church.

The starting base salary will be $80,000-$95,000, depending on experience, plus an additional
comprehensive benefits package. If needed, relocation assistance will be provided.

Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and three sermon links by December

Located at 1213 Washington St., Genoa, OH 43430.

St. John’s is prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor who is called by God and equipped to effectively preach and teach the Word of God. Our pastor of 11 years retired in November 2022, and we are fortunate to be led by a dynamic bridging pastor as we conduct our pastoral search.

St. John’s is a community-focused church that currently offers a traditional service.  According to a recently completed survey of the congregation, people attend our church because of their relationship with God, to become better people, and to be a part of the community.  Thoughtful sermons, inspirational music, and a welcoming atmosphere are important components of Sunday services.

During this time of transition, the Consistory is diligently working to maintain and grow itself and the church teams. We are excited about the future of our church and the opportunity to proclaim God’s Word, strengthen our witness, and demonstrate our compassion and concern for others.

St. John’s is seeking a leader who can act as a pastor, counselor, teacher, visionary, and preacher.  Visitation, involvement in the community, focus on growth of the church, and collaboration with Elderlife (an on-property community for seniors 55 and older) and the on-campus Nurturing Center (preschool and childcare) are essential.

If you are looking for a new pastoral leadership role and would like additional information, please contact us at your earliest convenience by emailing office@stjohnsgenoa.org or by calling 419-855-3906 x5. Our kind, welcoming, active church looks forward to hearing from you.
