Over the past few weeks we’ve been sharing about our commitment to affordability. It is a privilege to have so many students invite Winebrenner into their personal spiritual journeys. Students are central to all Winebrenner does, and it’s important to listen to their voices:
Winebrenner’s industry-shaking tuition model was one of the most significant factors in my decision to enroll. When I began sensing a call to ministry, it seemed like getting the appropriate education would be impossible. My limited financial means and staunch commitment to avoiding debt made traditional academic models unviable. However, it was obvious right from the beginning that Winebrenner was unafraid to do things differently. The $300/month tuition, combined with the Life Exploration enrollment program, removed all obstacles to my education. All I had to do was decide if I was up to the challenge. I am honored to be attending an organization that puts its values into practice and will do whatever it takes to equip people for service in God’s kingdom.

Winebrenner Theological Seminary’s $300/month tuition has allowed me to pursue God’s calling of counseling while also working to assist underserved youth in one of our nation’s metro communities. Without this opportunity, I would most likely have to shift careers and forego pursuing a master’s degree in the current economical climate, rather serving His kingdom in the capacity I am now.

It is not only evident that God is working directly through Winebrenner Seminary to equip and prepare leaders for ministry, He has done so dramatically by leading them to offer invaluable instruction at an extremely affordable rate. As a humbled and blessed recipient of their programming, I could not praise God or the staff of Winebrenner more for their choice to offer such low tuition costs. I felt God’s call to ministry for years, and when I casually came across Winebrenner, I applied, not knowing the tuition was going to change to their current rate. When I was accepted and the tuition rate became more affordable, it all but affirmed God’s call on my life to ministry. The growth I’ve experienced while in attendance is unparalleled. The quality of education, the professionalism, and the passion for God’s Word are evident from every member of the staff from the very first day of each class to the last day of the trimester. Every course leaves you wanting more; more of God, more of His word, and more of His blessings so you can go forth, renewed and equipped, sharing the blessings of His call with the world. If you’re thinking of attending Winebrenner, if you feel God’s call to ministry in your heart, let this be your assurance that here, at Winebrenner, you will learn God’s Word with grace, wisdom, and power. The fields are ripe for the harvest, but the workers are few, and Winebrenner is opening the door to many, many new workers.
