At Winebrenner Theological Seminary, we understand that not every journey to academic pursuit follows the same path. We understand that people may have diverse backgrounds, experiences, and educational levels. That’s why we’ve created unique pathways that cater to both those who have pursued traditional undergraduate degrees and those who have taken alternative routes.
For those who have completed their undergraduate education, Winebrenner offers a seamless transition to graduate studies. Our faculty and staff will support your academic and personal growth, ensuring a fulfilling and enriching experience as you continue your educational journey.
However, we also understand that not everyone’s journey includes a traditional undergraduate degree. Life circumstances, personal choices, or career paths may lead individuals to take different routes. At Winebrenner, we believe that education should be accessible to all, regardless of the path taken to get there. That’s why we’ve developed pathways for non-traditional students to enroll in our graduate programs.
To meet the requirements for Bachelor Equivalency, a student must have completed at least 100 accredited credit hours from a recognized institution and have relevant work experience. If the student has less than 100 credit hours, they can still enroll in the Life Exploration route, which requires the completion of three courses in categories identified by Winebrenner (listed in the catalog) with a minimum grade of B+. In addition, students must complete the Foundations of Seminary course with a minimum grade of B+. Once the student meets these requirements, they will be eligible to fully enroll in the master’s program.
Our commitment to providing accredited graduate education has enabled us to welcome many new students to our student community. We strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued and empowered to pursue their academic and professional goals. Through personalized guidance, flexible program options, and a collaborative learning environment, we aim to help every student succeed, regardless of their educational journey so far.
So whether you’re a recent college graduate or someone charting a different course, Winebrenner Theological Seminary is here to support you on your path to graduate education. Embrace your journey, and let us help you take the next step towards a fulfilling and rewarding academic experience.
