Last month, several from Winebrenner participated in “Senior Week” at Camp Sonrise Mountain, the church camp affiliated with the Allegheny Region Conference of the Churches of God, General Conference. Winebrenner’s President, Brent Sleasman, served as “Dean” for the week of camp while the Allegheny Region Director and current Chair of Winebrenner’s Board, Pastor Phil Scott, served as a member of the staff. Several others Winebrenner students and supporters were part of the staff as well. Several of the students from the week will be participating in an ACTS team from July 9-18 as well as many who are attending the Well at the University of Findlay from July 21-27.
One of the highlights for the week was a meal packing, in partnership with Rise Against Hunger. Jacob Clagg, Winebrenner graduate and Director of Communications at the Churches of God, General Conference office in Findlay, joined us and created the following video:
