Student Story (Jessica Brown): The Start of my Winebrenner Journey

I feel so blessed to be a part of Winebrenner Theological Seminary. Honestly, if you had told me a year ago that I’d be in grad school, I wouldn’t have believed you. It was never part of my plan, and I didn’t think it was something I could achieve. But that’s the thing—it’s not about my plan, it’s about God’s plan. And now, I see that this is exactly where He wants me to be.

The MACC program has been such a great fit. It’s helping me grow in so many ways—professionally, personally, and most importantly, in my faith. The professors here are amazing—so engaging and always available when I need help. I’ve also made some really great friends, and that sense of community is something I’ve come to love about being here. Plus, the tuition is affordable, which has made this whole journey more manageable.

I won’t lie, balancing full-time work, being a wife and mom, and attending grad school is tough. But it’s worth it. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me—educationally, professionally, and in my walk with God. I’m trusting Him every step of the way.
