The Power of Community at Winebrenner

Community is at the heart of the Christian faith, and at Winebrenner Theological Seminary, this shines through, even in our online format. While virtual classes might seem isolating at first, the sense of connection and fellowship among students and faculty demonstrates the truth of Scripture: “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20).

Martin Calzada, a new student, shared how the Winebrenner community has impacted his journey:

“From the very first day, I felt welcomed and supported. Each class I attended, whether through live sessions or recorded lectures, felt engaging and personal. The professors foster an environment of encouragement, and my fellow students are always ready to support one another. I’ve felt a genuine sense of belonging, even in the online format.”

This testimony highlights Winebrenner’s commitment to creating space for students to grow spiritually and academically. Whether through class discussions, special prayer time, or faculty guidance, the seminary community reflects the biblical call to “encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11).

If you’re feeling called to deepen your faith and ministry, know that at Winebrenner, you won’t walk the path alone. Here, you’ll find a supportive community dedicated to growing together in Christ.
