The Road to Innovation: Prioritizing Strategic Goals

Part 1: The Power of Networking

In this first post of our blog series, “The Road to Innovation: Prioritizing Strategic Goals,” we dive into the critical role of networking and its impact on our strategic priorities for the coming years. Networking is more than just a buzzword; it’s a strategic approach that significantly influences how we recruit students and promote the mission of Winebrenner. We continue to strengthen our connections with our denominational partner, the Churches of God General Conference, by attending regional events and collaborating with churches and leaders, while also opening the door to new networks.

This past summer, I had the opportunity to attend the bi-annual Church of God (Cleveland, TN) General Assembly. It was wonderful to reconnect with many individuals I have not seen in many years. Sharing about my new role at Winebrenner and all that God has been doing here. We also continue to share with other churches and church leaders as we promote this institution we all care so much about. Through these interactions, we share Winebrenner’s vision and mission, as we build relationships that are essential to our growth and success.

As we focus on networking, we have seen great fruit from these efforts. When we are connecting with organizations, churches, leaders, even our Alumni, we are working together to build the Kingdom. Current student Martin Calzada, who recently provided a student story mentioned how networking was the road that led him to Winebrenner. “I learned about Winebrenner through my spiritual mentor, who spoke highly of the excellent education offered there” Because of this Kingdom connection Martin was able to begin his Winebrenner journey.

As we continue on this journey of innovation and growth, we invite you to join us. Whether you’re interested in becoming a student or networking with us, we would love to connect with you. Your support and collaboration are vital to our success, and together, we can make a difference.
