Collaboration: One Kingdom, One King, One Kingdom Mission, Part 2

One Kingdom, One King, One Kingdom Mission

A Jesus-centered, biblically grounded approach to organizational leadership leads to conclusions that differ significantly from what I encountered as an undergraduate faculty member. Rather than forcing students into a narrow set of options, we can expand possibilities by integrating theological convictions into our leadership. Scripture reshapes our organizational practices, moving us from a mindset of competition to one of collaboration, and from rivalry to shared purpose. While we still operate in a competitive landscape, theological education benefits far more from shared wisdom and mutual support than from organizational rivalry.

In the coming weeks I’ll explore each element of the guiding phrase: One Kingdom, One King, One Kingdom Mission. Individually, each one is significant for how we think about our work and mission. But, when combined, it really is a case of the whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts!
