We are excited to welcome Annika Rogers as our new Volunteer Alumni Association Coordinator. Annika graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Colorado in 2016. After six years of teaching 6th grade history in Gallup, NM, God called Annika out of the classroom and into the pulpit. Annika became the Director of Youth and Small Groups at Newburg First Church of God in Newburg, PA, and has been pastoring there for three years. In 2025, Annika graduated with her Master of Divinity from Winebrenner Theological Seminary. In addition, Annika also serves in the Air Force Reserves as a Chaplain Candidate. She is working towards being a full-time Chaplain in the future as she meets ecclesial and Air Force requirements.
Annika grew up in a Christian household and professed Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age. As a military-brat, she moved often, spending many of her formative years in Colorado Springs, CO. After graduating college, she moved to New Mexico to the Gallup area and taught at a local middle school as well as serving at the local Christian summer camp- Broken Arrow Bible Ranch. During the pandemic, Annika volunteered with the Navajo Nation Christian Response Team as the Supply and Distribution Coordinator. Working with local pastors and the Navajo Nation Government, God used this experience to show her a call to ministry in pastoral care in chaplaincy.
Annika brings administrative and people skills to the business of the Alumni Association. She loves to get to know new people and serve the needs of others. Her hopes in her service in the Winebrenner Alumni Association is to encourage and provide resources to graduates and their families to be better equipped for the work of God’s kingdom. She hopes for opportunities to connect past, present, and future students in a meaningful way that honors the body of Christ and Jesus’ call to discipleship!
