Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). While our circumstances can change on a daily basis, His nature and His care for us remain.
Here at Winebrenner Seminary, we do not waver in our mission to equip leaders for service in God’s kingdom. At the same time, we are adjusting to the circumstances created by the coronavirus. Below are important updates and announcements regarding the outworking of our mission in the near future:
Summer Trimester
On Monday, March 30, the decision was made that all courses for the summer term will be available exclusively online. First and foremost, it’s important to know that the summer term will continue as scheduled, beginning the week of May 4. Registration is open. Further to this post, students will be contacted directly by email. If you have questions or concerns about your registration, reach out to Lauren Coats at lauren.coats@winebrenner.edu.
Board of Trustees’ Spring Meeting
The Board of Trustees meeting remains scheduled for Thursday, May 7, and Friday, May 8. However, the Board meeting will now be held via Zoom. This proactive announcement ensures adequate time for us to collectively plan a productive meeting. More details are forthcoming.
Alumni Online Gathering
Each Monday, at 7:00 p.m., a group of Winebrenner Alumni are gathering to share ideas and pray for one another. Please contact Dr. Kathryn Helleman at kathryn.helleman@winebrenner.edu if you would like to learn more about this session. You can access the Facebook event directly here (click on “Find Tickets” within the event).
2020 Commencement
We are aware that some schools are changing plans for their annual graduation ceremonies. At this time, Winebrenner Seminary plans to host Commencement on Saturday, August 1. We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will let you know if it’s necessary to adjust these plans.
Winebrenner Team Working Remotely
Until further notice, the faculty and staff at Winebrenner Seminary are working full-time from their home offices. Contact information for faculty is found here on our website and for staff here. Please do not hesitate to reach out at any time.
I am available to discuss the impact of any of these decisions on you and your family.
