A few weeks ago I shared that Winebrenner Theological Seminary is creating a new position and will be hiring an Executive Director (you can access that post and learn more about that position by clicking here). In that announcement I made the point that Winebrenner, like all organizations, is continually organizing and reorganizing around mission and strategy.
In that same spirit, Winebrenner will be hiring a Chief Academic Officer (CAO) in early 2024. While this has some similar characteristics to current and past positions, this will be a new position at Winebrenner. Dr. Mary Iiames is serving as our Interim CAO as we continue to move toward this new hire.
You can learn more about the new CAO position by clicking here.
This will be an administrative position that assists Winebrenner in fulfilling the mission of equipping leaders for service in God’s kingdom. As you can see in the full job description available at the above link, there are both student-facing and faculty-facing aspects to this position. Winebrenner is continuing on the path toward greater levels of integration and collaboration among colleagues and external partners.
Let me know if you would like to talk more about this position or how it will allow us to better carry out God’s mission for Winebrenner! We are moving forward in an intentional and deliberate manner – if you, or someone you know, may be interested I encourage them to let me know as soon as possible so that we can discern next steps.
